Tropicool 4 — Symbols and Payouts
Tropicool 4 has nine fruit-themed symbols. The four pears are the lowest-paying symbols, paying out just $0.01 for three symbols and $0.05 for six. The pears are purple, green, yellow, and pink.
The other five fruity symbols have higher payout values: the purple apple, lime, pineapple, dragonfruit, and strawberry. There are small increases between each symbol, with the lime paying out $0.12 for six symbols and the dragonfruit paying out $0.20.
The strawberry is the highest-paying symbol in the game, awarding $0.40 for six symbols. When the game is set to the maximum bet, six strawberries will be awarded $200. If there is a winning combination that’s made up of just Wilds, it will have the same payout value as the strawberry.

Avalanche and Cool Reel
The Cool Reel sits on top of the 6×6 grid and can hold three rows containing feature symbols, empty ice cubes, and empty cells. The ice cubes are spacers, while feature symbols only become active once they drop onto the grid. This happens when wins occur, which causes the symbols to explode, and the remaining Cool Reel features drop down onto the main grid, filling in the empty spaces. The Flamingo Wild is a Walking Wild. Toucan Multiplier
This is a Walking Multiplier. The toucan walks to the next reel with each spin, increasing the global multiplier each time and generating Free Spins. Like the flamingo, the toucan walks one reel to the right with each spin. The feature finishes when the toucan reaches the rightmost reel. The global multiplier is active until the toucan is no longer on the grid.
Elmo Drop
The Elmo sloth lands on the reels in an ice cube. When there are no more possible wins on a spin, Elmo removes all the payout symbols from multiple rows using a blow torch, triggering the Avalanche feature. He becomes active whenever there’s space for him to grow two or three rows tall.
Mystery symbol
The mystery symbol is a neon question mark in an ice cube. It reveals the hidden symbol at the end of a spin.
Grid Flip
This symbol is two neon arrows, one yellow and one pink, pointing to each other in a circular motion. When this symbol lands on the reels, it flips the grid horizontally, and the Grid Flip symbol becomes a Wild.
Row Swap
You’ll recognize this symbol as a pink arrow pointing left and a yellow arrow pointing right. This symbol selects a paying symbol from the row and transforms the rest of the row into the same symbol. It cannot replace the Wild, Character Feature symbols, bonus symbols, or feature symbols.
Multiplier
The multiplier symbol adds a 1x, 2x, or 3x multiplier to the global multiplier when it drops onto the main grid from the Cool Reel.
Big Symbols
Sometimes, big symbols land on the reels. These could be 2×2, carrying the same payout value as four symbols, or they could even be as big as 3×3, with the value of nine symbols. If a big symbol falls onto the main grid from the Cool Reel, it will crush any underlying paying symbols as it falls to the bottom.
If the entire big symbol can’t drop down from the Cool Reel as is, it will break up into regular 1×1 symbols. If a big symbol drop ends with empty cells underneath it, it will replicate itself and fill the empty cells with 1×1 symbols of the same type.
